Goal
The aim of Eden's environmental club is to promote environmental conscientiousness among the students, and within the nearby community by engaging in eco-friendly activities such as waste conservation.

Our long term goal is to change the perception of our student body so that they recognize that conserving the environment is in our common best interest. As eco-stewards of Eden High School, it is our job to place an emphasis on cleanliness, compassion and environmental leadership.

Initiatives

1.  Improving The Recycling Program
  •  emphasis on the importance and uses of recycling
  • encourage and promote proper recycling habits by having more recycling bins and having more signs and reminders about recycling
  • have eco-stewards who model  the values of Eden's environmental club.

2.  Greening Our Community
  • have several school days where eco-member clean up either outside or within the nearby community

  •  have target areas needing of clean up e.g. the sidewalks for the school clean-up

  • emphasis cleanliness among the school population, to make then mindful of the cleanliness of outside, and the need to keep it that way

 3.  Improving Resource Conservation
  • have energy initiative such as  turning out the lights, going paperless and promoting energy conservation.
